Service Description

Enquire here: theresa@hotpeoplecry.com What sessions with me look like: -My work is trauma-informed, relational, and nervous-system oriented. Emotional resource strengthening and capacity building. Supporting lasting change towards your goals. That means: We work with the here-and-now. With an understanding of how your past shaped you and your patterns, we explore how they impact you today and address the emotional work that helps break through those old patterns that keep you stuck and limit your wellbeing. Throughout this powerful process, I stand by your side to offer a supportive, non-judgmental space and provide individually tailored guidance and tools. Sessions can look different depending on the context, your goals, and your current emotional capacity and resilience. My approach is trauma-informed and nervous-system-oriented, which means I guide our work at a pace that allows your nervous system to follow safely and avoid overwhelm (sustainable change and progress become possible). Within a session, I hold space, guide, remind, challenge, and witness to support you in reaching your goals. Real, embodied change often needs you to address difficult parts and messy feelings that are tough to face alone. So I’m right there with you. Clients often report experiencing: -Feeling alive and fulfilled in the present moment. -Being more capable of understanding and dealing with feelings of stress and situational anxiety. -Increased self-belief and trust. -A sense of agency: feeling capable of going after your goals, facing challenges, taking ownership and driving change instead of being stuck in the mud. -More comfortable in your own feelings: able to enjoy or "sit with“ pleasant & unpleasant emotions without sabotaging or suppressing them. Disclaimer: My counselling services focus on emotional growth and personal development. They do not replace medical treatment or psychotherapy.
